I wanted to take a slightly different tour to learn more about Aussie life for our family trip.

I found Aussie Home Visits and my family, and I decided to go on this tour.  I was thrilled to be going to a family home that was near the beach!  On the way to our host family’s house we stopped at a liquor store and bought a drink.

We had a BBQ dinner in the garden and Mama’s handmade ‘Mango mousse’ for dessert.  It was delicious.  We had great conversations talking about the climate differences.  I live in the northern most part of Hokkaido, so we talked about winter hardships that Australians are not used to.  The talk was very lively and passed quickly.  This was a really good memory and I would love to join this tour again when I come back to Australia!
